  • - Saturday is inside shooting so if there are any problems with that day for our group 

 we can move shooting back a day to Sunday 2/5/23 

  • - If anyone is unable to come on the filming days we have other friends willing to 

 sub in.

A soccer showdown

   Today was our second day of filming on October 6th, 2021. Our group was excited to finish our Adidas commercial. Jade Walrave and I changed into our costumes before heading to our filming set. The track, our filming set, was not very busy so we began finding an area with good lighting to film our final scenes. The final scenes we needed to film was the action scene where Jade and I were in a head to head match. We first began by filming a low angle of me and jade running in order to show off the adidas brand cleats. After this we filmed a few of my shoes alone in order to get the perfect shot. Between filming each scene we would go back and review the scene in order to change anything wrong in it. We ended up re-filming the first scene around 5 times before capturing the correct shot. Production Blog: Sound Specifics

I was recently tasked with fixing and adding sounds to my 5-minute short film. The film was visually stunning, but the audio needed some work to match its quality. I began by watching the film several times, taking notes on where sounds were needed and what existing sounds needed to be improved. Then, I got to work creating a list of sounds that would bring the film to life. I started by gathering sound effects that matched the film's setting and atmosphere. I looked for sounds that would add to the realism of the scenes, like rustling leaves, footsteps, and wind. Next, I worked on improving the dialogue audio. Some of the dialogue was hard to hear or muffled, so I used audio editing software to clean up the audio and make it more clear. After that, I added ambient sounds to the background of each scene to create a more immersive experience for the viewer. Production Blog: Extra Details

  Making my film takes a lot of planning and attention to detail. With a schedule of two shooting days, there is a lot of work to do to make sure everything runs smoothly. Here are some of the extra details I had to consider when planning my five-minute film. After I identified the specific locations I will be filming at, including both interior and exterior scenes I still had to work out the details. I first had to e nsure that I have permission to film at each location and was in compliance with any local regulations. Next, I must c onsider the time of day I will be shooting each scene and plan accordingly. Make sure I have all the necessary equipment, including cameras, lighting, and sound equipment. Identify all the participants in my film and make sure they are available on the scheduled shooting days. Establish health and safety protocols to keep everyone on set safe and healthy.
