I was recently tasked with fixing and adding sounds to my 5-minute short film. The film was visually stunning, but the audio needed some work to match its quality. I began by watching the film several times, taking notes on where sounds were needed and what existing sounds needed to be improved. Then, I got to work creating a list of sounds that would bring the film to life. I started by gathering sound effects that matched the film's setting and atmosphere. I looked for sounds that would add to the realism of the scenes, like rustling leaves, footsteps, and wind. Next, I worked on improving the dialogue audio. Some of the dialogue was hard to hear or muffled, so I used audio editing software to clean up the audio and make it more clear.
