Changes Made From Film Review
After my film review, I knew there were many things I wanted to improve about my production. The first issue I wanted to tackle was how loud the music was over the lines of my actors. Both individuals who watched my film noticed this and I knew I had to fix it. I was unsure of how to do this at first and found myself researching a tutorial. The tutorial said to split the audio into sections. Then, adjust the audio per section. I began doing this, but as a result, my audio sounded choppy. So, I added the music to Microsoft's music editor. In this application I was able to fade the music in and out, making a smoother transition between the dialogue and music. Next, I saved the music as an Mp4 audio onto my computer. Then, I uploaded it back into my production and Rewatched the video. I noticed that the fading of the music was not precise as I had not done the fades directly onto the film. I instead had the production pulled up as I edited the music. I decided to have my editor Connor look at it tomorrow. Next, I began working on adding text to the news broadcast in my production. The fact that the Newscast was a newscast was mentioned by someone who reviewed my film. They had to ask me what the scene was. Therefore I knew I had to add the text. I made sure to tell my editor to add a new banner to this scene to make its purpose clear. Lastly, the music choice was something I thought a lot about. I decided I would need to make a serious change to my audio choice. But, that's something for another day!
