A fantastic day of filming

Today, my group and I planned to start filming. I met up with my group members after school and traveled to my filming location. I began by getting all of my actors into their costumes. However, I ran into a problem when one of my actor's costumes did not fit, since I was filming at my house I was able to find a new dress for my actor to wear. Next, I began by getting by getting my actors into their filming makeup. I decided each actor would be wearing a different color of eye makeup, as well as foundation, blush, and lip-gloss. After finishing the stage makeup, I checked each actors outfits and makeup and decided on hair. I decided my hair was the only one that needed to be "styled". I used clips to tie half of it up so it was out of my face. Next,  I got my only male actor changed into his costume and used a bit of makeup to cover a few blemishes. After all actors were ready for filming I filmed out first few scenes showing each actress getting ready to go to a party. My group member Mya filmed these first scenes and we made sure to take many shots to prevent the need to re-film. The next scene I needed to film each actress leaving their house on the way to the party. I traveled to the three locations with my actresses, and filmed many shots of each actress. The next scene was showing all the actresses meeting up at the location of the party. I had my other actor film this scene as me, Mya, and Jade were all in this scene. This scene took a while to film as it was using a tracking shot so it was hard to figure out the blocking for it. The actors also had to high-five, which messed up a few takes of this shot. We finally nailed it a few times and moved on. The final scene I filmed for the day was the actors preparing and fixing the hair of their friends before entering the party. After the filming of this, one of my actors had to go home early, so we concluded this day of filming.
